Major Tasks

As part of the Qualitest automation team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Design and develop advanced automation frameworks and reusable components for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Execute proof-of-concept projects, helping teams adopt innovative tools and methodologies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize complex automation issues across multiple technologies and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Provide consulting expertise for automation implementation across client projects.
• Champion best practices in automation, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across testing environments.

Needed Qualifications

To excel in this role, you’ll need a blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in test automation frameworks for mobile (iOS and Android), web, and APIs—hands-on with tools like Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and REST Assured.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages, preferably Java and .NET, with working knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation challenges efficiently.
• Strong communication and consulting skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with agile and DevOps methodologies, ensuring seamless integration of automation into modern software delivery pipelines.
• Working knowledge of backend frameworks like Spring Boot and Flask, and hands-on experience in testing applications built on these technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms—AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure—including cloud-native services and deployment models.
• Ability to integrate cloud-based infrastructure with automation frameworks for improved scalability and performance.
